Battle in Graveplate: a grave knight faces a maddened cultist, lit by torches

ABOUT THE GAME

You are the four hundred and twelfth

Eleven generations built this armor. You choose how the iron knows you, Strength, Dexterity, Endurance, or Wisdom, and descend. Every battle plays out in real time through an ATB (Active Time Battle) system: the armor and the enemy act as their own bars fill, with no rigid turns.

Along the way: collectible relics, an Engraving tree with 62 nodes to shape your build, increasingly hostile themed areas, and an Endless Mode for whoever wants to descend as far as they can take it. Death isn't the end, it's just the next armor descending in your place.

HOW TO PLAY

Controls

100% automatic combat (ATB), your armor and the enemy act on their own as their bars fill. Your part is entirely by mouse: distribute points at hero creation, pick upgrades and Engravings between battles, and control the pace with the speed buttons (1x to 8x) and pause. The game pauses itself when the tab loses focus.

PLAYER GUIDE

Codex, Bestiary, and Forge

Graveplate ships with its own wiki built into the game, a Virtue Forge simulator, a Relic Codex, and a Bestiary, accessible from inside the game itself once it's published. No separate guide needed here, just open it and explore.

NOTE FROM IDEABOB

Why I made this

I've always liked the idea of a game that keeps "living" even when we're not looking, and of armor that carries the history of whoever already died inside it. Graveplate is the sum of those two obsessions: a dark RPG, idle in its combat, but heavy in atmosphere. Every Engraving, every relic, is one more chapter of a lineage that never ends.
